At 10:45 PM on July 12th, a real-life "GTA"-like dramatic scene unfolded in the Granville Road area of Tsim Sha Tsui. A 20-year-old man surnamed Luo, driving a silver Mercedes-Benz, sped recklessly against traffic in a busy area to evade police pursuit, crashing into taxis and attempting to mount the sidewalk before being stopped by police. Cocaine, marijuana, and weapons were found in the car, and three men were arrested at the scene. The incident resulted in injuries to an innocent taxi driver who was taken to the hospital.

[Incident Details] Drug-impaired driver recklessly drove against traffic in a busy city, causing a near-miss.
According to police and witnesses, the West Kowloon Regional Traffic Department was conducting an anti-drunk driving operation on Hillwood Road when they noticed the Mercedes-Benz was driving erratically and signaled for a stop. However, the driver, surnamed Luo, not only refused to stop but also accelerated and fled, turning onto Nathan Road from Hillwood Road and then driving against traffic onto Granville Road. During this time:
- The first taxi to crashA Mercedes-Benz, while turning into Xinyi Street from the opposite direction at 33 Granville Road, crashed into a taxi that was traveling normally, causing severe damage to the front of the taxi.
- Secondary reverse lineThe vehicle that caused the accident then turned into Kimberley Street against the flow of traffic, but was unable to proceed due to being blocked by vehicles in front.
- Attempt to shovel onto the sidewalkThe driver attempted to escape by running onto the sidewalk, but got stuck due to insufficient space and was eventually surrounded by police officers.
After repeated verbal warnings proved ineffective, the police drew their guns and quickly subdued the three people in the car.

After searching the vehicle involved, police officers found:
- 41 packets of suspected cocaine(Approximately 18 grams in total)
- Small amount of suspected cannabis
- Two telescopic batons
The total market value of the drugs was approximately HK$21,000. The three arrested men, including the driver surnamed Luo and two passengers (a 20-year-old surnamed Mo and a 19-year-old surnamed Wang), were all covered with black cloths and taken to the police station.
